\n Rate: £600 per 4-hour session

About the Role

\n

We are recruiting experienced General Practitioners with experience in mental health and psychiatry clinics to support a growing remote clinical service.

\n

This is a fully remote opportunity offering flexible sessional work, ideal for GPs with experience supporting patients with a range of mental health presentations within outpatient or community settings.

\n

Key Responsibilities

  • \n

    Conduct remote psychiatry-focused consultations

    • \n
  • \n

    Assess and support patients presenting with mental health conditions

    • \n
  • \n

    Develop treatment plans, management strategies, and follow-up recommendations

    • \n
  • \n

    Undertake medication reviews and monitoring where appropriate

    • \n
  • \n

    Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

    • \n
  • \n

    Work collaboratively with wider multidisciplinary and mental health teams

    • \n

What We’re Looking For

  • \n

    GMC registered GP with Licence to Practise

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience working within mental health or psychiatry services

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong communication and remote consultation skills

    • \n
  • \n

    Ability to work independently within a virtual clinical environment

    • \n
  • \n

    Confident managing patients with a range of psychiatric presentations

    • \n
\n

Desirable

  • \n

    Previous experience within community mental health or outpatient psychiatry services

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience working alongside CAMHS or adult mental health teams

    • \n
  • \n

    Additional mental health or psychiatry training/qualifications

    • \n
  • \n

    Experience prescribing and monitoring psychiatric medications

    • \n
