Location: Leeds

Due to continued growth and a strong forward workload, my client is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Leeds team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a leading private engineering consultancy, delivering a diverse range of UK-based projects across the residential, retail, commercial, leisure, education, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities of this Senior Civil Engineer role;

• Lead and support a civil engineering team on projects ranging from single-building developments to large-scale schemes across multiple sectors
\n
• Utilise and demonstrate strong experience in Civil 3D
\n
• Design civil infrastructure including adoptable roads and drainage systems for residential, commercial, retail, education, and industrial developments
\n
• Liaise with statutory authorities such as water companies, environmental regulators, and highway authorities
\n
• Use relevant technical analysis and design software, including AutoCAD, to a high standard
\n
• Ensure the quality and consistency of technical outputs, including drawings and reports
\n
• Mentor and support junior engineers
\n
• Attend and contribute to design meetings, site meetings, and site inspections
\n
• Communicate professionally with clients, contractors, and design teams, providing technical advice where required
\n
• Manage work in line with agreed budgets and programme deadlines
\n

Requirements for this Senior Civil Engineer position;

\n
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil & Structural Engineering (essential)
\n
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience
\n
• High proficiency in Civil 3D (essential)
\n
• Chartership status is desirable
\n
