About the Role\n
\n We are seeking an experienced Drainage Surveyor to join our clients growing team, specialising in Section 104 (S104) pre-adoption drainage surveys. You will play a key role in inspecting, assessing, and verifying newly constructed sewer systems prior to adoption by water authorities.\n
\n This role is ideal for someone with strong technical drainage knowledge, hands-on surveying experience, and a solid understanding of adoptable sewer standards.\n
Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Carry out S104 pre-adoption CCTV drainage surveys and inspections
\n
• Assess new sewer installations against adoption standards (e.g. water company requirements)
\n
• Produce accurate, detailed survey reports and defect logs
\n
• Liaise with developers, contractors, and engineers on-site
\n
• Identify non-compliance issues and recommend remedial actions
\n
• Ensure all survey data is correctly recorded and submitted in line with industry standards
\n
• Operate CCTV drainage equipment and related surveying technology
\n

Required Experience & Skills\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Drainage Surveyor or CCTV Drainage Technician
\n
• Strong working knowledge of S104 sewer adoption processes and standards
\n
• Experience producing high-quality technical reports
\n
• Competence using CCTV drainage inspection systems and reporting software (e.g. WinCan or similar)
\n
• Understanding of adoptable sewer construction and defect identification
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently on-site
\n

• NRSWA Streetworks accreditation
\n
• Confined Spaces certification
\n
• CSCS card
\n
• Experience working with developers or water authority adoption teams
\n
