We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning Administrator to join a highly respected independent financial planning firm based in Shrewsbury.\n
\nThis position would suit an individual who enjoys being part of a professional advice team and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to both clients and colleagues.\n
\nYou will be joining a business that has built its reputation on technical excellence, professionalism and long-term client relationships. The firm has received numerous industry accolades, including STEP Financial Adviser Team of the Year, and was selected by NS&I to provide professional financial advice to monthly £1 million Premium Bonds jackpot winners.\n
\nWorking closely with Financial Planners and Paraplanners, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality financial planning advice and maintaining outstanding client service standards.\n
The Role
Responsibilities will include:\n

The Role
Responsibilities will include:\n

- Processing new business and provider applications \n
- Managing client reviews and ongoing servicing requirements \n
- Obtaining policy information and Letters of Authority \n
- Maintaining accurate client records and CRM systems \n
- Liaising with clients, providers, advisers and paraplanners \n
- Supporting fund switches, withdrawals and transfers \n
- Assisting with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and client due diligence \n
- Preparing documentation and reports for client meetings \n
- Monitoring outstanding requirements and progressing cases efficiently \n
- Ensuring all administration is completed in line with FCA regulations and internal compliance procedures \n
You will ideally have experience working within a Financial Planning, Wealth Management or IFA environment and understand the importance of accuracy, client care and attention to detail.\n
\nYou will possess:\n
- \n
- A minimum of 2 years experience within Financial Services Administration \n
- Knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products \n
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills \n
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal \n
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail \n
- Experience using financial planning platforms and back-office systems \n
- A sound understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements \n
- \n
- O&M, Morningstar or Selectapension \n
- Quilter, Transact, 7IM or similar platforms \n
- Cashcalc, Voyant or other cashflow modelling software \n
- Working towards, or interested in studying for, professional qualifications \n
- \n
- Salary £30,000 £40,000 depending on experience \n
- Supportive and collaborative working environment \n
- Support to attain DipFS of Chartered Progression to Paraplanner or Adviser \n
- Exposure to a wide range of financial planning cases \n
