\nWe are looking for a Fire and security Engineer to join our team in our southern region. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years experience in fire alarms as well as knowledge of security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Intruder) in accordance with industry standards and regulations as they will be responsible for maintenance and installing small works, of both.
\nThe Engineer will also be responsible for, providing technical advice on fire safety and security to the sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a commitment to providing the highest level of service for our customers. The preferred candent will be able to work alone and as part of a team.
\nResponsibilities:
\nUndertake installation and commissioning of fire and security systems to British standards.
\nUndertake maintenance, of fire and security systems to BS5839 and NSI Gold standards.
\nTo undertake a high level of fault finding on fire safety systems.
\nProvide advice on fire safety regulations and standards to the sales team.
\nBe part of a callout router.
\nJob Type: Full-time
\nSalary: £40,000 per year

\nMonday to Friday 8-hour days on site
\nOvertime -x1.5 after 8 hours on site Monday to Friday & Saturday
\nx2 From midday Saturday through Sunday.

\nTravel time -Single time after 15 minutes of traveling to and from site
\nEducation:
\nA-Level or equivalent (preferred)
\nFIA certification
\nExperience:
\nFire Alarms: 6+ years (required)
\nSecurity Alarm 6+ years (required)
\nDriving Licence (required)
\nMaintenance of fire and security systems
\nECS Card
