Job Description
ECHO Personnel is recruiting a Precision Manual Engineer for one of our clients based in Corby. Our client is a well-established engineering company providing high-quality machining, fabrication, and maintenance services across a range of industries.
\nAs a Precision Manual Engineer, youll be responsible for operating manual lathes, milling machines, and associated workshop machinery to produce high-quality components. Youll play a key role in ensuring parts are manufactured accurately and efficiently, working with a variety of materials and maintaining high engineering standards.
\nKey Responsibilities:

- Operate manual lathes, milling machines, and associated machinery \n
- Manufacture components to specification, working to tight tolerances \n
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings \n
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, and adjustments as required \n
- Work with materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, phosphor bronze, brass, and plastics \n
- Carry out quality checks using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, etc.) \n
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with H&S procedures \n
- Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines \n

Hours:
\n8:30am 5:00pm
\n Monday to Friday (40 hours per week, 30-minute lunch)
\n Overtime available
