KeyResponsibilities:Driver(HGV)

• Operatearangeofvehicles,includingskipvehicles,hookloaders,andarticulatedvehicleswithtrailers.

• Ensurethesafe,compliant,andefficientcollection,transportation,anddisposalofwastematerialsbothonandoffsitetodesignateddisposalpoints.
\n
• Maintainaccuraterecordsofloadsmoved,ensuringcompliancewithweightsandmeasuresrequirementsandEnvironmentAgencyregulations.
\n
• MaintainavalidDriverCertificateofProfessionalCompetence(CPC)anddigitaltachographcardatalltimes.
\n
• AdheretoOperator(O)Licencerequirements,drivingregulations,andWorkingTimeDirectiverules.
\n
• Ensurehighstandardsofproductivity,workquality,andoperationalefficiency.
\n
• Provideexcellentcustomerserviceandmaintainaprofessionalapproachwheninteractingwiththepublicandstakeholders.

• UpholdthereputationofPlymouthCityCouncilthroughthedeliveryofacriticalfrontlineservice.

• Carryoutdailyvehiclechecksandreportanydefectsinlinewithprocedures.
