\nLocation: Sites across St Albans, Luton, Cambridge, Bury St.Edmunds
\nSalary: up to £28,000 including £2,000 car allowance
\nContract: Full-time / Permanent
\nFull UK driving license and access to a vehicle required
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focused Independent Living Maintenance Officer to join our team. In this varied and hands-on role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across our Independent Living schemes, ensuring our buildings remain safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nCarry out minor repairs and maintenance across communal areas and individual properties
\nPlan and schedule maintenance tasks efficiently
\nConduct monthly estate inspections to identify issues
\nEnsure health & safety standards are maintained
\nOversee contractor work on-site
\nMonitor and track repairs and escalate when needed
\nCommunicate effectively with residents and stakeholders
\nGather feedback and support continuous improvement
\nWhat We're Looking For
\nExperience in maintenance or repair work
\nStrong organisational and communication skills
\nAbility to work independently
\nExcellent customer service approach
