Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm (40 hours per week)\n
Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 per annum (Basic Salary), plus standby and call-out payment worth roughly an estimated£2000 per year\n

\nWe are looking for a skilled and motivated Plumber to join a small, experienced maintenance team delivering repairs and maintenance across Ministry of Defence (MOD) accommodation in Bristol, Lyneham, Gloucester and Swindon. Candidates based in or around Gloucester are preferred due to the location of the work.\n
\nWorking across both Service Family Accommodation (SFA) and Mess Facilities Housing (MFH), you'll play an important role in ensuring homes remain safe, functional and well maintained for military personnel and their families.\n
\nYou'll be joining a close-knit team of three plumbers, delivering a high-quality repairs and maintenance service while providing excellent customer care.\n

- Carrying out domestic plumbing repairs, maintenance and installations across occupied and void properties. \n
- Diagnosing and repairing leaks and pipework faults. \n
- Replacing sanitary ware, taps, showers and associated plumbing fixtures. \n
- Maintaining and repairing domestic heating and hot water systems. \n
- Fault finding and carrying out planned preventative maintenance. \n
- Recording completed work electronically using handheld job management systems. \n
- Managing van stock to maximise first-time fixes. \n
- Completing work safely, efficiently and to a high standard while complying with health and safety procedures. \n
- Providing a professional, customer-focused service at all times. \n
- Working collaboratively with the wider maintenance team to deliver an effective repairs service. \n
What We're Looking For\n
\nTo be successful in this role, you will have:\n
\n
- \n
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing. \n
- Previous experience in domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance. \n
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. \n
- Excellent customer service and communication skills. \n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team. \n
- A full UK driving licence. \n
- Eligibility to obtain BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) security clearance. \n

- Permanent, full-time employment. \n
- Monday to Friday working hours (8:00am 5:00pm). \n
