As CNC Milling Machinist, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
\n • Clear communications and hands on approach with a strong work ethic
\n • Drive improvements as part of continuous improvement culture
\n • Working in a safe manner in line with the companies Health and Safety policy
\n • Maintain working area to a good standard as part of 5S implementation
\n • Ensure quality is maintained and follow processes for area are correctly implemented to company standards
\n • Carry out tasks in accordance with set process times to meet deadline.
\n • Have a flexible approach and at times move onto other disciplines within skill set
\n • Help with skills flex training and cross train others when required.
\n To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
\n • Ideally Apprentice served
\n • Heidenhain Programming
\n • Familiar with Turning and Milling techniques
\n • Experience with handling of composite materials is an advantage
\n • Understand Health& Safety environment/procedures
\n • Read and understand Engineering drawings
\n • Good communicator with all levels of business (written & verbal)
\n • Education:
\n • GCSE/O Level or equivalent.
\n • Apprentice served
\n • Experience:
\n • 5 years (min) Engineering experience within the manufacturing industry
\n • 5 years (min) CNC Programming knowledge (Heidenhain)
\n • Modern Tool Cutting knowledge
\n • CI experience (Lean 7 wastes) Safety / 5S
\n • Computer Literate (Microsoft)
