Whalley Range, Manchester
\n 3-bed home | Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs and/or Low Level EBD

Salary: up to £65,000 per annum DOE

\n

Were excited to be recruiting a Registered Homes Manager to lead a 3-bed childrens home as part of an organisation undergoing an exciting rebrand and period of growth.

\n

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced manager from a Learning Disabilities (LD)/ Emotional Behavioural Difficultiesbackground who is a versatile, forward-thinking leader who can adapt and shape the service.

\n

About the role:

\n

You will take full responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of the home, creating a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children aged 817.

\n

Youll play a key role in driving standards, embedding a positive culture, and shaping the future direction of the service during an exciting transformation period.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards
  • \n
  • Create a child-centred, therapeutic, and outcomes-focused environment
  • \n
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing staff team
  • \n
  • Manage budgets, rotas, and overall service performance
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships with professionals, families, and stakeholders
  • \n

About you:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent
  • \n
  • Minimum 3 years experience in residential childcare
  • \n
  • Experience within LD/EBD
  • \n
  • settings

  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices
  • \n
  • A confident leader with a passion for achieving the best outcomes for children
  • \n
  • Full UK driving licence
  • \n
