Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Salary: £43,000 per annum
Shifts: Rotating Days & Backshift (6:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm)
Echo Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Wellingborough. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a busy engineering team, supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment and site facilities.

The Role\nAs a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities across a range of production and site equipment.
\nKey responsibilities include:

- Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery and plant equipment. \n
- Diagnosing and resolving faults to minimise downtime and maximise production efficiency. \n
- Supporting preventative maintenance schedules and ensuring work is completed to a high standard. \n
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance. \n
- Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with health and safety regulations and company procedures. \n
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). \n
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to support operational requirements. \n
The successful candidate will possess:

- A strong background in electrical maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC fault finding. \n
- Relevant engineering qualifications (minimum BTEC, City & Guilds, or equivalent). \n
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment. \n
- Good knowledge of preventative maintenance and continuous improvement techniques. \n
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across electrical and mechanical systems. \n
- Previous experience using CMMS systems. \n
- A solid understanding of health and safety requirements within an engineering environment. \n
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. \n
