The Role
\n Brightwork are recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic for a well-established, privately owned company based in Glasgow. This is a weekdays only role, offering an excellent work–life balance, with no evenings, nights or weekends required.

You'll be part of a small onsite maintenance team, responsible for the upkeep of an in-house fleet of Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles This is a steady, well-organised environment, not breakdown cover or shift-based work.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance
\n
• Fault diagnosis and mechanical/electrical repairs
\n
• MOT preparation and compliance checks
\n
• Maintaining vehicle safety and roadworthiness
\n
• Working collaboratively within a small engineering team
\n
• Adhering to all health & safety standards
\n

What We're Looking For

\n
• Proven experience as an HGV / Truck / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
\n
• Experience working on Class 1 and/or Class 2 vehicles
\n
• Relevant mechanical qualifications or strong time-served experience
\n
• Able to work independently with a practical, hands-on approach
\n
