\nAre you an experienced Vehicle Technician looking to join a well-established national van hire company with excellent career prospects and earning potential?\n
\n We are recruiting for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop in Huntingdon. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the UK's leading commercial vehicle rental providers, offering ongoing training, modern workshop facilities, and genuine opportunities for career progression.\n
\n The Role As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of light commercial vehicles, ensuring they are safe, roadworthy, and ready for customers.\n
\nYour duties as a Vehicle Technician will include:\n
\n

\n
• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of light commercial vehicles.
\n
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
\n
• Completing MOT preparation and inspections.
\n
• Performing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required.
\n
• Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
\n
• Maintaining accurate job records and completing all relevant paperwork.
\n
• Working efficiently to meet workshop targets while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
\n

Requirements To be successful in this Vehicle Technicianrole, you will ideally have:\n
\n

\n
• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
\n
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Service Technician.
\n
• Experience working on vans or light commercial vehicles is desirable but not essential.
\n
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
\n
• A full UK driving licence.
\n
• A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
\n
