Job Description
Responsible for the day-to-day accounting and tax reporting for offices in Europe and the Middle East. This role involves adhering to in-country deadlines and providing timely and accurate information to local advisors. Additionally, you will prepare all necessary financial information and reports to meet Group deadlines.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
\nServe as the primary point of contact for local accounting, tax and payroll providers
\nPreparation of monthly management accounts
\nCollate data for the preparation of monthly local accounts in accordance with local legislation
\nReview accounts prepared by local accountants and reconcile
\nPrepare data for monthly, quarterly, and annual VAT returns
\nPrepare and review monthly payroll data, including arranging associated payments
\nComplete several legal entity balance sheet reconciliations
\nCo-ordinate the annual audit
\nPrepare data for annual tax returns, with support from the Corporate Tax Director
\nPrepare the annual plan for each location
\nPrepare sales invoices
\nWeekly review of cash balances, forecast payments and ensure appropriate funding is in place to meet payment and regulatory requirements
\nAssist with regulatory compliance reporting as required

COMPETENCIES
\nKnowledge of MS Office, in particular a good working knowledge of Excel
\nExcellent attention to detail
\nExcellent bookkeeping skills, including the ability to prepare journals unassisted
\nSound financial knowledge and background/experience, potentially working towards a qualification
\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to work in a small team
\nAble to use own initiative
\nAble to prioritise workload and excellent organisational skills
\nKnowledge of foreign currency transactions or experience with international operations would be an advantage but not essential. Training will be provided.
