Production/Hygiene Operative

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Production/Hygiene Operative to join an established food manufacturing business based in Kirkcaldy.

Our client is an award-winning frozen food manufacturer with over 30 years of history, part of an international food group supplying major retail and foodservice brands from their busy Fife facility.

• Ongoing temporary position
\n
• Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am
\n
• Paid weekly at 14.27 per hour
\n

As a Production/Hygiene Operative, your duties will include:

\n
• Packing and labelling finished products accurately
\n
• Preparing and processing raw materials
\n
• Cleaning production machinery, equipment and factory areas as part of daily hygiene procedures
\n
• Operating production machinery including mixing equipment and production lines - full training provided
\n
• Lifting and moving boxes weighing approximately 15 to 20kg
\n

To be considered as a Production/Hygiene Operative, you will need:

• Good physical fitness due to the manual handling requirements of the role
\n
• A reliable, thorough approach to work with an understanding of hygiene and food safety standards
\n
• The ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
\n
