Risk & Compliance Officer

\nWe're working with a brilliant leading international law firm who are looking to add a Risk & Compliance Officer into their growing compliance function in London.\n
\n
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience across AML, client due diligence, matter inception and regulatory compliance to join a highly regarded global team and play a key role in supporting lawyers and business services teams across multiple jurisdictions.\n
\n
The role?\n
\n
\nš¹ Supporting client and matter onboarding processes\n
\nš¹ Conducting AML checks, reviewing KYC documentation and sanctions screening\n
\nš¹ Advising on risk assessments and ongoing monitoring requirements\n
\nš¹ Maintaining accurate matter information and compliance records\n
\nš¹ Supporting information barriers and confidentiality processes\n
\nš¹ Assisting with compliance reporting, audits and internal projects\n
\nš¹ Working closely with Risk Lawyers, Conflicts and wider business teams\n
\n
About you?
\n
\n'05; 2+ years' experience within a compliance function in a regulated environment (ideally within a law firm)\n
\n'05; Strong AML / KYC experience\n
\n'05; Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks\n
\n'05; Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities\n
\n'05; Strong communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders\n
\n
\nA legal background (Law Degree/GDL or legal experience) would be advantageous, but the key focus is finding someone with strong risk and compliance experience who can add value from day one.\n
\n
