\n We're partnering with a leading defence technology business to recruit a Trade Compliance Officer to join their UK Legal & Compliance team.

\n This is a genuinely varied role where you'll work across Engineering, Projects, Operations and Legal, ensuring complex defence products and technology remain compliant throughout their lifecycle.

\n This is a standalone role, you'll become the go-to person for trade compliance across the business, supporting major programmes while helping shape internal processes and compliance standards.

The Role?

• Managing UK Export Licensing (SIELs, OIELs & OGELs)
\n
• Advising on UK Export Control Regulations, Customs and International Trade Compliance
\n
• Supporting compliance with UK, EU and US regulations including ITAR and EAR
\n
• Preparing export licence applications and maintaining licence compliance
\n
• Conducting internal audits and compliance reviews
\n
• Delivering Export Control and Trade Compliance training
\n
• Managing sanctions screening, denied party screening and end-user due diligence
\n
• Working alongside Engineering and Project teams to classify products and technology correctly
\n

About you?
\n '05; Circa 5 years' experience within Trade Compliance or Export Control
\n '05; Strong knowledge of UK Export Licensing and Customs Regulations
\n '05; Experience working with ITAR, EAR and international trade regulations
\n '05; Previous experience within Defence, Aerospace, Engineering or another highly regulated environment
\n '05; Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
