SR Drivers are currently recruiting reliable and experienced7.5 Tonne (Category C1) Driverson behalf of a well-established transport and logistics client based inEly, Cambridgeshire (CB7).

\n

We are looking for professional drivers to support a busy and established transport operation, withongoing and flexible driving opportunities available.

\n

Whether you're looking for regular ongoing work or flexible ad hoc shifts to fit around your availability, this is an excellent opportunity to work with an established transport operation while receivingweekly PAYE pay and dedicated support from SR Drivers.

Pay Rates\n

£14.00 per hour PAYE

\n

OR

\n

£15.69 per hour inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay

\n

Holiday pay options will be discussed during registration.

\n

Paid weekly every Friday.

The Role -7.5 Tonne Driver Ongoing Work | Weekly Pay\n

As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, your duties may include:

  • \n

    Completing local and regional deliveries and collections

    • \n
  • \n

    Driving 7.5 tonne commercial vehicles safely and professionally

    • \n
  • \n

    Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

    • \n
  • \n

    Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely

    • \n
  • \n

    Completing delivery paperwork and PODs accurately

    • \n
  • \n

    Following planned routes and delivery schedules

    • \n
  • \n

    Communicating professionally with transport planners, customers and depot teams

    • \n
  • \n

    Complying with Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive and road transport legislation

    • \n
  • \n

    Maintaining a professional, reliable and customer-focused approach at all times

    • \n

Requirements\n

To be considered for this position, you must have:

    Valid UK Category C1 (7.5 Tonne) Driving Licence

    • \n
  • \n

    Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

    • \n
  • \n

    Valid Digital Tachograph Card

    • \n
  • \n

    Previous commercial 7.5 tonne driving experience

    • \n
  • \n

    Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations

    • \n
  • \n

    Professional and safety-focused approach

    • \n
  • \n

    Good communication skills

    • \n
  • \n

    Reliable transport to travel to the Ely depot
