\n CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our clients team of facilities management professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC maintenance and repair, responsible for maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and end-client satisfaction.\n
\n The ideal candidate will have experience of pressure leak tests, compressor changes and braising.\n

- Competitive salary between £40,000 - £46,000 per annum (depending on experience) \n
- Van & fuel card supplied \n
- Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) \n
- Participation in an out of hours on call rota (to be confirmed) \n

- Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers \n
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment \n
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency \n
- Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions \n
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades \n
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment \n

- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry \n
- Hold your F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification \n
- Full UK driving licence \n
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques \n
- Familiarity with refrigeration principles and equipment \n
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults \n
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
- Effective communication and customer service skills \n
