Service Engineer
\nAbout the Role
\n We are seeking a self-motivated and team-oriented Service Engineer to join a growing organisation specialising in water efficiency technologies. This role involves working on large-scale commercial and industrial systems, including projects such as airports and stadiums.
Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site surveys \n
- Carry out mechanical and electrical system installations \n
- Commission systems and ensure optimal performance \n
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance \n
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs \n
- Provide after-sales support \n
- Test and repair products \n
- Manage and support projects where required \n
- Complete associated office-based tasks \n
- Participate in an on-call rota \n
- Travel to sites, including occasional overnight stays \n
A structured training programme (approximately 3 months) will be provided, focusing on specialist systems such as rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling.
\nEssential Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Experience working as a field service engineer or supervisor within pumping systems, cooling systems, or similar technologies in a construction environment \n
- Relevant qualifications in plumbing or electrical engineering \n
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team (SSSTS or SMSTS advantageous) \n
- High level of motivation and commitment to professional development \n
- Proven experience working within the building services sector with strong customer-facing skills \n
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office \n
- Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings \n
- Experience with water recycling systems is beneficial but not essential \n
- Full, valid manual driving licence \n
