Salary: £44,000

Hours:40 Hours per week, Monday - Friday (8am 4.30pm) and 1 in 4 Saturdays

\n The Role

We are looking for a versatile multi-skilled engineer to support both electrical and mechanical maintenance across our clients site.

As a multi-skilled engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining plant reliability through planned preventative maintenance (PPM), responding to breakdowns, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance safely
\n
• Respond to breakdowns and diagnose faults quickly
\n
• Work across PLCs, motors, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors
\n
• Complete PPM tasks and maintain accurate records
\n
• Support installation and commissioning of equipment
\n
• Drive reliability improvements and reduce downtime
\n

\n Skills required:

\n
• Time-served Electrical or Mechanical Apprentice (multi-skilled preferred)
\n
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
\n
• Strong fault-finding across electrical and mechanical systems
\n
• Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings
\n
• Proactive, team-oriented, and safety-focused
\n
• 18th Edition (desirable)
