Location: Kettering Head Office & local site travel required\n
Salary: £37,500 per annum\n
Hours: Full time 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with occasional out-of-hours first responder duties)\n
About the Role\n
\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities Lead to join a multi-site office and warehouse environment.\n
\nYou will take ownership of facilities operations, supporting site safety, service delivery and continuous improvement across Head Office and nearby support sites.\n
\nThis is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys problem solving, managing contractors, coordinating services and maintaining high workplace standards.\n
Key Responsibilities\n
\nRespond professionally and promptly to urgent facilities issues and emergency call-outs.\n
\nAct as key holder and first responder, supporting site security and access requirements outside normal hours.\n
\nDevelop, manage and improve preventative maintenance schedules.\n
\nMonitor facilities requests and aim to improve service response performance.\n
\nSupport budget planning and track expenditure against forecasts.\n
\nLead contractor management, including tenders, quotations, risk assessments and project delivery.\n
\nSupport workspace development and space planning projects.\n
\nCoordinate essential site services including reception, security, cleaning, mail, waste management and consumables.\n
\nCarry out regular site inspections, reporting maintenance issues and arranging repairs.\n
\nSupport Fire Safety, First Aid and wider Health & Safety initiatives.\n
\nManage procurement of consumables and services to ensure best value.\n
\nTravel between local sites and occasionally to external locations as required.\n
About You\n
\nWe are looking for someone who is time served in a Facilities or Site Management role, comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment.\n
You will have:\n
\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills\n
\nAbility to remain calm and make decisions under pressure\n
\nExperience managing budgets and supplier relationships\n
\nExcellent project and time management skills\n
\nProficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)\n
\nA practical, flexible and proactive working style\n
\nFull, clean UK driving licence\n
\nAbility to act as a first responder if living within reasonable proximity to the site\n
Desirable Qualifications & Experience (Training May Be Provided)\n
\nFacilities Management, Health & Safety or related qualifications\n
\nIOSH or safety management certification\n
\nFirst Aid, Fire Safety, PAT testing, asbestos or legionella awareness\n
\nBasic CAD or workplace planning software experience\n
Working Hours\n
\nTypically 08:00 17:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:00 13:00 Friday\n
