Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer\n

\n The Role You'll be part of a shift-based engineering team, responsible for maintaining highly automated systems to ensure maximum up time and performance. The role is hands-on, with a strong focus on electrical fault finding, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement.\n

\n The Role You'll be part of a shift-based engineering team, responsible for maintaining highly automated systems to ensure maximum up time and performance. The role is hands-on, with a strong focus on electrical fault finding, planned maintenance, and continuous improvement.\n
\n Key responsibilities include:\n
\n
- \n
- Electrical fault finding on automated machinery and conveyor systems \n
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns \n
- Working with PLC-controlled equipment (fault finding, not programming) \n
- Supporting mechanical maintenance when required \n
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site standards \n
- Contributing to reliability improvements and continuous improvement initiatives \n
\n You'll ideally have:\n
\n
- \n
- A completed electrical apprenticeship \n
- Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding experience \n
- Background in Food, FMCG, logistics, or automated warehousing environments \n
- Experience working with automation, conveyors, sensors, drives, and motors \n
- Basic PLC fault-finding knowledge (Siemens / Allen Bradley / similar) \n
- A proactive, team-focused approach to engineering \n
