Class 2 Hiab Driver

Class 2 Hiab Driver | Reading | Full Time | Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 4:00 pm or 7:00 am – 5:00 pm | £15.00 – £15.71 per hour

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Class 2 HGV HIAB Driver to join the Reading depot. You will play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient, and timely deliveries while representing the company professionally on-site and supporting depot operations when required.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete scheduled deliveries and collections following instructions
\n
• Provide high-quality customer service during deliveries
\n
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and safe handling practices (HIAB hook attachment)
\n
• Complete accurate documentation and report issues or discrepancies
\n
• Assist with yard duties including loading, unloading, and stock organisation
\n
• Work collaboratively with depot team members
\n
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects
\n
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and compliance standards
\n
• Complete tachograph and driver documentation in line with regulations
\n
• Provide courteous and reliable service in all interactions with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
\n

What We're Looking For

\n
• Class 2 HGV Licence with driving experience
\n
• HIAB Licence (hook attachment)
\n
• Driving Licence
\n
• Experience with ratchet straps and secure loading techniques
\n
• Attention to detail
\n
• 1 year of driving experience
\n
• Ability to commute to Reading RG7 3QA or relocate
\n
