PCV / HGV Mechanic - Early Shifts - Kidderminster \n

£21p/h - Early shifts - 6am - 2:30pm - 40 hours per week, overtime paid at £21p/h\n

The Role\n
\nAs a PCV / HGV Mechanic you'll be responsible for ensuring vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, helping to maximise reliability and minimise downtime.\n
Your responsibilities will include:\n
\nCarrying out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.\n
\nPreparing vehicles for MOT inspections.\n
\nDiagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.\n
\nEnsuring all work is completed in line with DVSA and VOSA standards.\n
\nCompleting job cards and maintenance records accurately.\n
\nResponding to vehicle breakdowns and carrying out effective repairs.\n
\nSupporting apprentices and junior engineers where required.\n
\nWorking safely while maintaining high engineering standards at all times.\n
What We're Looking For\n
\nNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.\n
\nPrevious experience working on PCVs or HGVs within a workshop, fleet or dealership environment.\n
\nStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.\n
\nGood knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.\n
\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\n
\nFlexibility to work shifts and occasional overtime.\n
\nFull UK driving licence.\n
Desirable:\n
\nPCV licence (preferred but not essential).\n
