A well-established and growing construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join its Sunderland office.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant-side Quantity Surveyor who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working closely with clients and contributing to a collaborative and ambitious team environment.

\nThe Role\n
\n

You will be involved in the delivery of projects across a diverse range of sectors, providing both Quantity Surveying and Employer's Agent services.

\n

Responsibilities will include:

• Cost planning and estimating
\n
• Procurement and tender management
\n
• Contract administration
\n
• Interim valuations and final accounts
\n
• Employer's Agent duties
\n
• Contract and commercial advice
\n
• Client and stakeholder management
\n
• Site inspections and project handovers
\n
• Supporting business development initiatives
\n

\n
\nAbout You\n
\n

\n
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
\n
• Consultancy or client-side experience preferred
\n
• Strong understanding of procurement routes and forms of contract
\n
• Experience delivering projects both pre and post-contract
\n
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
\n
• Driven, proactive and commercially aware
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
