Are you an experienced Life Safety/Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer looking to join a well-established and growing business working on high-profile residential and commercial projects across London and the Southeast?
\nWe are a long-standing family-run business specialising in Security, Fire, Door Entry, Access Control and Data System solutions for high-rise developments, new builds and occupied residential sites. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a proactive and technically skilled engineer to join our commissioning team.
\nThis is a field-based role offering excellent long-term stability, varied projects, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to work with leading security technologies and manufacturers.

What you will be doing as a Life Safety/Fire Alarm Commissioning Engineer:
\n- \n
- Commission and configure Fire Alarm, Evacuation Alert and emergency voice communication and toilet alarm systems and associated solutions. \n
- Perform system testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. \n
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. \n
- Ensure all systems are installed and commissioned in line with industry standards and client requirements. \n
- Work closely with installation teams, project managers, and clients during project delivery. \n
- Provide on-site and remote technical support where required. \n
- Deliver system training and handover documentation to clients. \n
- Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities and system configurations. \n
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times \n
- Adhoc duties as required \n
Systems & Technologies
\nYou will ideally have experience working with some of the following:

- Fire Alarm \n
- Evacuation Alert \n
- Emergency Voice Communication \n
- Toilet Alarm systems \n
- Integrated Life Safety Systems \n
Manufacturers may include:
\n- \n
- Advanced \n
- Apollo \n
- C-Tec \n
- Morley \n
- \n
- Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer within the Life Safety Industry \n
- Strong experience with leading fire alarm systems \n
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults efficiently \n
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills \n
- Full UK driving licence \n
Experience withfire alarms, life safety is essential.
\nWorking Hours
\nMonday to Friday
\n 8:00am 5:00pm
Field-based across London and the Southeast with occasional visits to the Northolt office.
