People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Crick, Northamptonshire.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, regular work, and genuine opportunities for progression.

This particular role would suit applicants looking for a role as a Truck Driver, Category C1 Driver, 7.5 Tonne or HGV Driver

Shifts:

  •  Working 5–6 shifts between Monday – Saturday
\n   •  06:00 starts

Rates of Pay:

  •  £15.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

As a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  •  Two-person 7.5 Tonne home delivery work
\n   •  Completing 15–20 drops per day depending on area and distance
\n   •  Unloading goods with handball involved
\n   •  Heavy lifting due to the nature of the role

Essential Skills

As a HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will need:

  •  Valid UK Category C1 licence (held for a minimum of 12 months)
\n   •  Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card
\n   •  Previous commercial driving experience
\n   •  Reasonably physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
\n   •  Previous home delivery experience

Desirable Experience

  •  Previous 7.5 Tonne multi-drop experience

Training:

  •  Client assessment completed on first shift
\n   •  Industry-related training and ongoing support
