The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering team in a foot mobile role.

This position is ideal for an engineer who lives in Enfield or the surrounding area, as you'll spend 23 days per week based at a busy shopping centre in Enfield, with the remaining days covering a portfolio of commercial properties across Central London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied role, combining the consistency of a primary site with exposure to multiple prestigious commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems
\n
• Diagnose and repair faults on lighting, power, emergency lighting, and electrical distribution systems
\n
• Support the maintenance of mechanical and building services equipment where required
\n
• Carry out routine plant room inspections and ensure equipment is operating efficiently
\n
• Complete maintenance reports and update CAFM systems accurately
\n
• Liaise professionally with clients, tenants, and contractors
\n
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with health & safety regulations
\n
• Identify opportunities for remedial works and plant improvements
\n

About You

\n
• Fully qualified Electrician (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
\n
• Experience working within commercial building maintenance
\n
• Strong fault-finding and electrical maintenance skills
\n
• Good understanding of building services and plant room environments
\n
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
\n
• Self-motivated and able to work independently across multiple sites
\n
• Ideally based in or around Enfield
\n
