About the Role\n

At Panda, we deliver waste and recycling transport services supporting local communities. We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our Quarrington team. Operating from our regional depot, this role is for a logistics professional focused on safety and service excellence.

What Youll Be Doing\n

  Vehicle Operation: Safely operate Class 1 articulated vehicles to transport regional waste and recycling.

\n
• \n

  Compliance: Complete daily walk-around checks, report defects, and maintain digital tachograph records under EU regulations.

\n
• \n

  Safety First: Strictly adhere to transport laws, road regulations, and site safety protocols.

\n
• \n

  Customer Service: Act as a professional company ambassador at all collection and delivery points.

\n

What Were Looking For\n

  Requirements: Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category CE) licence, up-to-date Driver CPC, and a Digi Tacho card.

\n
• \n

  Experience: Proven Class 1 driving experience (waste, walking floor, or bulk transport experience is highly advantageous).

\n
• \n

  Knowledge: Solid understanding of UK driver compliance, WTD regulations, and defect reporting.

\n
• \n

  Attitude: Reliable, self-motivated, with excellent communication skills.

\n
