Experienced Vehicle Technician

Upto £45k

Blackburn , Monday to Friday (NO Weekends)

We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the motor industry while working as part of a supportive and skilled team.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Workshop Manager to complete allocated jobs efficiently
\n
• Liaise with the Service Advisor team regarding additional work or customer updates
\n
• Attend training sessions (both on-site and off-site)
\n
• Provide detailed updates on work progress
\n
• Carry out vehicle health checks
\n
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
\n
• Use diagnostic equipment to assess and verify repairs
\n
• Road test vehicles where required after work is completed
\n
• Complete all relevant service documentation accurately (job cards, reports, worksheets)
\n
• Record clear descriptions of faults identified and repairs carried out
\n

Requirements

\n
• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Service and Repair (minimum)
\n
• At least 3 years experience as a Vehicle Technician
\n
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
\n
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• Professional, reliable, and presentable
\n
• Proactive 'can-do' attitude
\n
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
\n
