HGV Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known and established distribution business based in Leighton Buzzard. We are looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Day Drivers to join the team.

Pay Rate:

£17.50 per hour PAYE

\n

Hours & Shift Patterns:

\n

Monday to Friday
\n 10:00 starts
\n Approximately 20:00 finish times
\n 810 hour shifts
\n Day work
\n Ongoing, consistent work available

\n

The Role:

\n

Completing collections from the clients larger commercial customers
\n Transporting palletised goods
\n No handball involved
\n Ensuring all collections are completed safely and on time
\n Carrying out all required vehicle checks before and after each shift
\n Completing all necessary paperwork accurately
\n Ensuring compliance with driver hours and Working Time Directive regulations
\n Maintaining a professional approach at all times

Requirements:

\n

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
\n New passes welcome
\n Maximum 6 points for minor offences only
\n Valid CPC and Digi Card
\n Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
\n Reliable, professional and flexible approach to work

\n
