Building Surveyor | Bristol | Full Time | £28,000£36,000 per annum
\nFounded in 2019, our client is a Bristol-based Property and Construction Consultancy, providing Building Surveying, Project Management and Sustainable Development Solutions to a range of private and public sector clients.

\nThe Role
\nWorking from the Bristol office in our building surveying team, you will be involved in providing specialist advice across the full spectrum of building surveying services such as: managing building surveying commissions, including surveys, dilapidation advice, project management/contract administration, party wall advice, new build, renovations and maintenance works.
\nWorking across all sectors, you will be involved with a variety of high-profile clients across the South West and nationwide. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
\nSupporting directors in delivering business objectives
\nPositively engaging with customers and developing, growing, and maintaining customer relationships
\nDelivering high-quality services and ensuring building surveying deliverables meet customer requirements
\nManaging projects in accordance with business procedures
\nManaging building surveying commissions including surveys, dilapidation advice, party wall advice, and construction projects from feasibility through to handover and post-completion reviews
\nPreparing and managing planned maintenance programmes
\nQuality monitoring of construction projects
\nPlanning service delivery in conjunction with the Director
\nProviding professional advice to clients and project team members
\nEnsuring quantitative and financial information is checked before issue
\nRemaining within role remit and seeking approval for additional responsibilities where required
\nProducing and presenting to customers
\nManaging service delivery for profit
\nAdvising directors of project issues, particularly those impacting PI insurance
\nIdentifying new business development opportunities and driving growth
\nRequirements
\nEssential
\nGraduate or Assistant Building Surveyor with 13 years consultancy experience
\nIdeally working towards APC
\nStrong communication and client relationship skills
\nAbility to manage workload and multiple project instructions
\nStrong attention to detail and professional approach
\nMinimum 1 year of experience required (ideally 23 years preferred)
\nDesirable
\nProgress towards APC with structured training underway
\nExposure to a broad range of surveying disciplines including dilapidations, party wall matters, and project management
\nExperience managing or supporting small projects independently
\nInterest in business development and client growth activities
