\n £30,137.85 per annum | Full-time (37 hours) | Permanent
The Role
\nWere looking for a Mobile Catering Supervisor to support high-quality catering services across our extra care schemes.
\nThis is a hands-on role where youll lead kitchen teams, ensure excellent food standards, and step in to provide cover across sites when needed. Youll work closely with the Chef Manager to keep services running smoothly and efficiently while delivering a great dining experience for our customers.
\nThis is a great opportunity for someone looking for a varied role, working sociable hours from 8am to 5pm across our 4 extra care sites. If you have experience as a chef, kitchen supervisor, catering team leader or catering supervisor this could be the role for you.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nLead and support catering teams in food preparation, cooking, and service
\nSupervise day-to-day kitchen operations in anyone of our four extra care schemes
\nMaintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance
\nSupport audits, stock control, and cost-effective service delivery
\nAssist with rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels
\nMotivate, train, and develop team members
\nDeputise for the Chef Manager when required
\nAbout You
\nExperience working in a catering or kitchen environment
\nPrevious supervisory or team leader experience
\nStrong communication and organisational skills
\nGood knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
\nFlexible, reliable, and team-focused
\nEssential qualifications:
\nNVQ Level 3 in Professional Cookery
\nLevel 2 Food Hygiene (or higher)
\nA full drivers licence
\nDesirable:
\nHACCP / food safety training
\nStock control or ordering experience
\nKnowledge of dietary requirements, including IDDSI standards, allergens, gluten-free, and lactose intolerance
