Payroll Specialist (Practice Experience Preferred)We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a friendly and supportive accountancy practice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who is confident managing payroll for a varied client portfolio and enjoys delivering a high standard of client service.Key Responsibilities\n

• Managing payroll for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries
\n
• Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls accurately and on time
\n
• Handling workplace pension submissions and auto-enrolment requirements
\n
• Processing CIS deductions and submissions where required
\n
• Liaising directly with clients and responding to payroll-related queries
\n
• Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation
\n
• Supporting the continued growth and development of payroll services
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Previous payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice environment
\n
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and procedures
\n

Experience with:\n

\n
• Salary sacrifice schemes
\n
• CIS payroll requirements
\n
• Workplace pensions and auto-enrolment
\n
• Processing payrolls for multiple clients
\n
• Experience using Sage Payroll software is preferred
\n
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
\n

Hours\n

\n
• Part-time role initially (approximately 3 days per week)
\n
• Flexibility to move into a full-time position for the right candidate
\n
