Our client, a highly respected independent accountancy and business advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join its growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong tax professional looking to take ownership of a diverse client portfolio while developing their advisory expertise within a supportive and collaborative environment.
\nAbout this opportunity
\nAs Corporate Tax Manager, you will manage a varied portfolio of corporate clients, providing both compliance and advisory services to owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs and growing companies across a range of sectors.
\nWorking closely with senior leadership, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality client service, identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting the development of junior team members.
\nKey Responsibilities include

- Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients and acting as their primary point of contact. \n
- Reviewing and overseeing corporate tax compliance work, ensuring deadlines are met. \n
- Providing tax advisory services on a broad range of matters, including: \n
- Corporate restructuring and reorganisations \n
- Capital gains tax planning \n
- Share schemes and employee incentives \n
- Business acquisitions and disposals \n
- EIS and SEIS reliefs \n
- Assisting clients with HMRC enquiries and tax investigations. \n
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships. \n
- Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior tax team members. \n
- Working alongside Partners and Directors on complex advisory projects. \n

About You
\n- \n
- CTA qualified, with minimum of 2 years post qualification experience . \n
- Strong corporate tax experience gained within an accountancy practice environment. \n
- Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients. \n
- Excellent technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation. \n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills. \n
- Ability to identify and deliver value-added tax planning opportunities. \n
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior staff would be advantageous. \n
