Mortgage and Protection Adviser

We are seeking an experiencedProtection Adviserto join a fast-growing, whole-of-market mortgage brokerage. Working closely with a team of mortgage brokers, you will advise clients on a wide range of personal and business protection solutions, supporting both retail and high-net-worth clients already engaged in financial services such as residential mortgages, commercial mortgages, and bridging finance. This role benefits from a consistent flow of warm, pre-qualified leads, allowing you to focus on advising, building trust, and developing long-term client relationships rather than sourcing business.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising clients on a wide range of personal and business protection products
\n
• Working closely with mortgage brokers to support wider client needs
\n
• Managing a portfolio of retail and high-net-worth clients
\n
• Recommending appropriate protection solutions, including:
\n
• Life Insurance
\n
• Critical Illness Cover
\n
• Income Protection
\n
• Business Protection
\n
• Advising on key business protection policies, including:
\n
• Key Person Insurance
\n
• Shareholder Protection
\n
• Managing and progressing a pipeline of warm, pre-qualified leads
\n
• Building strong, long-term client relationships
\n
• Ensuring all advice is fully compliant with FCA and regulatory requirements
\n
• Working towards and exceeding individual performance targets
\n

Requirements
\n Essential:

\n
• Minimum of 2 years experience in financial services or protection sales
\n
• Proven track record in protection or insurance sales
\n
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
\n
• Confidence dealing with high-value and complex clients
\n
• Target-driven with a strong commercial mindset
\n

Desirable:

\n
• Experience advising on both personal and business protection
\n
• CeMAP qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
\n

• £25,000 £30,000 basic salary (DOE)
