Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer 3-month initial contract - outside IR35 Sunderland - On-site Are you an Electrical Design Engineer with experience designing fire alarm and detection systems? Do you have a strong AutoCAD background and experience working on large industrial projects? If so, please read on... Essential skillset: Electrical design experience with fire alarm and detection systems Strong AutoCAD experience (Revit/BIM knowledge advantageous) Good understanding of BS 5839 and UK fire safety regulations Experience producing electrical schematics, layouts and installation drawings Ability to carry out on-site surveys and design verification Experience coordinating designs with multidisciplinary engineering teams Strong technical problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience participating in client design reviews and resolving technical queries Ability to produce project documentation including specifications, reports and design deliverablesDesirable experience: Previous experience on large industrial or manufacturing projects BIM coordination and digital design workflows Knowledge of wider British Standards and fire engineering principles Experience supporting system testing, validation and commissioning activities
