Location:Poulton le Fylde, Blackpool

Salary:£35,000 to £42,000 per annum depending on experience

Employment Type:Full-time, Permanent

Hours:Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday every other week

JOB OVERVIEW

We're recruiting a Mechanic or Vehicle Technician for our client, a busy and well run workshop based in Poulton le Fylde near Blackpool. This is a full-time, permanent position covering a varied mix of private and commercial vehicles across servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a range of private and commercial vehicles
\n
• Diagnose and fault find mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and technical manuals
\n
• Repair or replace components to a high standard
\n
• Use workshop tools and equipment confidently on a daily basis
\n
• Work independently when required and as part of the wider workshop team
\n
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
\n
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out
\n
• Welding work where applicable
\n

QUALIFICATIONS

\n
• Strong mechanical ability and hands on experience (essential)
\n
• Experience with servicing, diagnostics, repairs and fault finding
\n
• Confident using diagnostic equipment and workshop tools
\n
• Organised, reliable and self motivated
\n
• Good problem solving ability and attention to detail
\n
• Ability to work independently when required
\n
• Welding experience (desirable, not essential)
\n
• Previous workshop experience (desirable, not essential)
\n
