Warwickshire (UK-based with travel)
Permanent | Full-Time

We are working with a highly respected engineering organisation operating within a specialised, technically advanced sector. Due to continued growth and project demand, they are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team.

\n

The Role

\n

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and support of complex engineering systems at customer sites across the UK (and occasionally overseas). This is a hands-on role requiring strong fault-finding skills, technical expertise, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

    \n
  • Installation, commissioning and servicing of engineered systems and equipment
  • \n
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs both on-site and remotely
  • \n
  • Supporting customers with technical queries and ensuring high service standards
  • \n
  • Producing clear service reports and documentation
  • \n
  • Collaborating with internal engineering and support teams
  • \n
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in line with safety and regulatory standards
  • \n

About You

\n
    \n
  • Background in electrical, mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering
  • \n
  • Previous experience in a field service or mobile engineering role
  • \n
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • \n
  • Comfortable working independently and travelling to customer sites
  • \n
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach to customer interaction
  • \n
  • Full UK driving licence
  • \n
\n

Desirable

  • Experience working within highly regulated or safety-critical environments
  • \n
  • Understanding of complex systems or technical equipment
  • \n
  • Ability to obtain security clearance (if required)
  • \n
