Job Description
Smiths Equipment Hire Ltd are the Northwest's Largest Independent Equipment Hire company with 19 Hire It Centres located across the region.
\nWe supply all types of customers in all types of business, specialising in many types of equipment, including; plant and machinery to the construction and industrial sectors. A large fleet of delivery vehicles are able to supply almost any type of equipment that is requested.
\nAs a Workshop Engineer you must:
\nHave experience with repairing, servicing and maintaining small tool equipment
\nHave the ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
\nBe reliable and have aflexible proactive approach
\nHave good literacy, numeracy and computer skills
\nHave the ability to diagnose faults on associated small tool hire equipment
\nHave experience with 2/ and 4/ petrol engines
\nExperience with Diesel engines
\nHave a full UK clean manual driving licence
\nHave good diagnostic skills
\nHave good customer service skills
\nThe main Responsibilities of a WorkshopEngineerare:
\nRepairing, servicing and maintaining small tool equipment in the workshop.
\nMust be able to diagnose faults on a variety of Small tool equipment
\nMaintain and widen product knowledge
\nCarry out other tasks and duties as required
\nBe able to liaise with people at all levels
\nMaintain Health and Safety to Company Standards
\nWill be require to attend breakdowns so a full UK Manual Driving Licence essential.
\nWorking hours: Monday to Friday
