With a major civils and groundworks project now underway, they are looking to strengthen the commercial team with an ambitious QS who thrives in a fast-paced, high-value environment.The RoleAs Quantity Surveyor, youll play a key role in the commercial management of a large-scale civils and groundworks package. - Managing subcontractor procurement, payments and final accounts \n
- Cost value reconciliation (CVR) and forecasting \n
- Variations, valuations and change control management \n
- Supporting contract administration (NEC experience desirable) \n
- Monitoring project costs and identifying commercial risks/opportunities \n
- Liaising with site teams to ensure accurate cost reporting \n
- \n
- Proven experience as a QS within civil engineering or groundworks \n
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts \n
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills \n
- Ability to manage packages independently \n
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management \n
- Ambitious, detail-oriented and confident communicator \n
