HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

Solvit Recruitment are currently looking for a HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver.

Induction available Thursday 16th July.

Minimum 1 years driving experience required.

This is an ongoing position.

We are working with a local authority who are looking for an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will drive a refuse collection vehicle supplied by the Authority to carry out designated duties. These duties are to ensure that all waste streams (including Trade Waste) are collected.

This is a varied role and you will be working and assisting on your team, and on occasion, you will be on the road sweeper.

Hours of work.

Monday to Friday from 05:00 until Finish however usual weekly hours 37.

You will be paid £17.18 per hour excluding holiday pay.

Alternatively, with Rolled up Holiday pay £19.25 per hour.

Requirements.

\n
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
\n
• Understand Health & Safety.
\n

• Comply with all Site Safety Instructions relating to all landfill sites, waste transfer stations and recycling merchant sites.
\n

\n
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
\n
• Excellent communication oral and written.
\n
• Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.
\n
• HGV Class 2 experience.
\n
• No more than 6 points.
\n
• No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years.
