We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a well-established social housing contractor covering the Hastings area.

This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled roofer with experience carrying out repairs and maintenance within occupied and void social housing properties. The role offers a varied workload, working across a range of roofing repairs while also undertaking associated maintenance tasks when required.

Key Responsibilities:

\n
• Carrying out a variety of roofing repairs and maintenance works
\n
• Working on both occupied and void social housing properties
\n
• Completing minor associated works such as guttering, fascia/soffit repairs and basic carpentry
\n
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements
\n
• Accurately updating jobs and completing reports using a PDA system
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Proven experience as a Roofer within the social housing or property maintenance sector
\n
• Experience working in occupied and void properties
\n
• Competent in carrying out a range of roofing repairs
\n
• Previous experience using a PDA or handheld device to manage workloads
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence
\n
