Executive Director - Global Head of Credit Financing OperationsDivision: Operations - ISG Fixed IncomeRole OverviewWe are seeking a senior leader to join Credit Operations as Global Head of Credit Financing Operations, reporting directly to the Global Head of ISG Fixed Income Credit Operations.This role will lead the global operational function supporting securities financing transactions, including repo, securities lending, and margin financing. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end post-trade lifecycle, drive transformation, and ensure a best-in-class control environment, while partnering closely with Front Office, Technology, and Infrastructure teams.A key priority for this role is to drive the strategic modernization of the Credit Financing platform, enabling scalability, automation, and operational efficiency across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & StrategyProvide global leadership of the Credit Financing Operations function across EMEA, Americas, and AsiaDefine and execute the strategic roadmap for Credit Financing Operations, aligned to business growth and transformation prioritiesAct as a culture carrier and role model, embedding the Firm's core values and driving a high-performance environmentOwn financial and resource planning, ensuring efficient deployment against strategic objectiveBusiness & Client PartnershipBuild and maintain strong relationships with Trading, Sales, and key infrastructure partnersRepresent Operations in senior governance forums and drive alignment with business unit prioritiesEngage with external clients, counterparties, and market participants as requiredProduct & Operational OversightOversee the operational lifecycle of repo, securities lending, and margin financing transactionsEnsure robust management of collateral, margin, settlement, and lifecycle eventsMaintain high standards of operational excellence across trade support, settlements, and exception managementTransformation & ChangeProvide subject matter expertise to support legacy platform modernization and architecture designLead process re-engineering initiatives, including:Process mapping and simplificationRequirements definition and system designTesting and implementation of new platformsDrive automation, scalability, and efficiency improvements across the operating modelPartner with Technology to shape the future-state operating architectureRisk Management & ControlsEstablish and maintain a robust risk and control framework across all activitiesProactively identify, escalate, and remediate operational risks and issues with urgencyDevelop contingency plans to support business resilienceEnsure compliance with regulatory obligations and internal governance standards Experience & ExpertiseSignificant experience in securities financing operations (repo, securities lending, margin financing) or similar domainProven track record in leadership roles within Operations or Middle OfficeStrong technical understanding of financing products and post-trade architectureExperience leading large-scale transformation or platform modernization initiativesSkills & Leadership AttributesStrong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence at senior levelsCommercial mindset with the ability to assess impact on cost, risk, and efficiencyStrategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into executionExceptional communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh degree of ownership, accountability, and resilienceWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY:At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
