\nLead the Wound Closure (WC) business within Johnson & Johnson MedTech Surgery, responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to achieve profitable growth and market share expansion.
Responsibilities\n- \n
- Lead the UK & Ireland sales and marketing team for the WC business, aligning local plans with global strategy. \n
- Develop, implement and deliver the business sales and marketing strategy in collaboration with local leadership, marketing, professional education, HEMA, medical and government affairs, and global/regional stakeholders. \n
- Represent UK and Ireland on regional and global platform leadership teams, ensuring consolidated plans for short‑term and long‑term profitable growth. \n
- Drive profitable growth through flawless plan execution, product launch excellence, effective resource allocation, and performance against business plan targets. \n
- Manage financial and budget activities, owning and managing the P&L, conducting financial planning, analysis and modelling, and making key decisions impacting short‑ and long‑term financial performance. \n
- Set strategy in alignment with regional and global direction, considering opportunities from other markets when planning and implementing business strategies. \n
- Shape the external environment by developing deep customer and competitor insights, and building relationships with clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders, including government policymakers and purchasing groups. \n
- Lead a high‑performing, agile, customer‑focused organization, developing a robust pipeline of diverse leaders and promoting an inclusive workplace environment. \n
- Install a growth mindset within the team, ensuring effective communication, employee engagement, talent selection, and continuous business acceleration. \n
- Create a Credo‑aligned culture, championing Health Care Compliance and integrity principles at all levels of the organization. \n

- Degree in science/medicine and/or business. \n
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading a commercial organization with P&L responsibility. \n
- Over 5 years of leadership experience in a business unit with more than 30 people and at least $50M in revenue. \n
- Track record of delivering results in challenging business environments, particularly within the MedTech sector. \n
- Experience in the MedTech UK market and category knowledge in wound closure and healing is a plus. \n
- Strong business and financial acumen with a strategic mindset. \n
- Proven customer centricity, understanding of economic environment and market dynamics. \n
- Unquestioned ethics, integrity and Credo‑based leadership. \n
- Strong organizational leadership, able to inspire and mobilize a large organization through continuous change. \n
