Salaried GP wvt Partnership
Job Description
Background: This is a practice working out how to build a role around the right person, rather than fitting a candidate to a fixed job spec. A genuine conversation about Partnership is already underway, alongside real scope to shape a Clinical Lead position, or to join simply as an experienced Salaried GP with no such ambitions. Sessions run from four to seven, structured entirely around whichever route suits you.
\nLocation: The practice sits in a relaxed part of East Sussex, close to Eastbourne (around 20 minutes by car), with easy access to the coast, shops and restaurants. Lewes and Uckfield are both 25 to 30 minutes away, and Royal Tunbridge Wells is within a comfortable 45‑minute commute, giving real flexibility on where to live.
\nThe Practice: Small practice, with a strong partnership team and salaried GP team, supported by a paramedic practitioner, ANP, remote clinical pharmacist and full nursing team. Early adopter of AI Scribe and a virtual telephone attendant, with a focus on reducing admin burden. No traditional named list model, workload is shared and redirected across the wider team rather than held by one person. Rated Good by the CQC.
Your Role\nA genuine, live conversation about Partnership is on the table now, with a Clinical Lead pathway also available if Partnership isn’t the immediate goal. Flexible session numbers from four to seven, built around the right candidate rather than a fixed job plan.
\nDuty runs as a full day, backed by experienced care navigators. The Partner is absorbing extra admin to protect clinical workload during this recruitment.
\nReal scope to get involved in wider commissioning or PCN level work. Interest in women’s health, diabetes, lifestyle medicine, ENT, joint injections or frailty welcomed.
\nApplicants should be at least two years post CCT, visa sponsorship isn’t available for this role. You must be qualified as a General Practitioner and registered with the GMC and UK Performers List.
