Connect Appointments is recruiting Packaging Operatives to join an established food production business based in Broxburn.

Our client operates a busy chilled production facility, offering consistent Monday to Friday work with full training and PPE provided.

What's on offer?

• Temporary ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent employment
\n
• Monday to Friday, 6:20am to 2:40pm
\n
• 12.71 per hour - paid weekly
\n
• Full training provided
\n

Please Note: This role involves working in a cold environment - full PPE is provided.

As a Packaging Operative, your duties will include:

\n
• Picking, packing and monitoring quality control of products on a fast-paced production line
\n
• Operating relevant production machinery and equipment safely
\n
• Manual handling and weighing of products accurately
\n
• Stacking goods onto pallets for bulk shipments
\n

To be considered as a Packaging Operative, you will need:

\n
• Previous experience in a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment
\n
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
\n
• Good time keeping and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
\n
• Comfortable standing for long periods and working in a cold environment
\n
