Bakery Retail Assistant (Part-Time)

Connect Appointments is recruiting a Bakery Retail Assistant to join a busy, well-loved bakery based in Whitburn.

Our client operates a popular bakery retail outlet, requiring a reliable and customer-focused individual to support the smooth running of the shop across a flexible part-time rota.

What's on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
\n
• 24 hours per week - shifts allocated based on the needs of the business
\n
• Shifts run as full days or half days between 7:30am and 3pm
\n
• 12.75 per hour - paid weekly
\n

Please Note: Shifts are weighted toward the end of the week, with flexibility required for holiday and absence cover.

As a Bakery Retail Assistant, your duties will include:

\n
• Welcoming customers and delivering a friendly, attentive service throughout every visit
\n
• Handling cash and processing transactions accurately
\n
• Rotating stock and taking in deliveries
\n
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and well-presented shop environment throughout the shift
\n

To be considered as a Bakery Retail Assistant, you will need:

• Previous experience in a customer-facing, retail or hospitality environment
\n
• A warm, approachable manner with a genuine focus on customer service
\n
• Full flexibility to work varying shifts as directed by the business
\n
• A reliable, well-presented approach to work
\n
